CeltFest 2021 Sunday 5th September

We are so excited about CeltFest this year. The time of year may have moved slightly but the festival is coming back even bigger and better than before!

For the first time we’re welcoming back a band who we first staged at CeltFest 2016- The Henry Girls are back by popular demand after their storming appearance with us a few years ago. Their fantastic musicianship, close vocal harmonies and their genuine warmth and sense of humour was a total hit with the audience.

We’re also introducing you to an exciting up and coming duo, Thorpe and Morrison, with an energy on stage which we are sure will have you all jigging in your seats! Their background is from Ayrshire though they play an extensive variety of music, all with great skill.

Although we’ve shared a stage with these guys more than a few times over the years, for the first time this year we’ve managed to book The Mellish Pipe Band to play at CelFest! Those of you who have seen them before will know how expertly this Highland Pipe Band can move between haunting slow airs with magically interwoven harmonies to musical reminiscences of Scotland and foot stomping jigs and reels.

As ever, all music is free of charge at The Victoria Hotel, but for the first time this year we will be selling T shirts and the proceeds from the sales will be going to charity.

The event runs from 1.30 pm on Sunday 5th September 2021.
See you there!
